I was born in Pisa, Italy and came to island Losinj from Hoboken, New Jersey. In New Jersey I owned a restaurant called "La Tartuferia" The restaurant was proclaimed as one of the top 5 New Jersey restaurants in 2002!

Just like in the USA, I make similar Mediterranean food here in Croatia. I was one of the first truffle dealers in America in the early 90s and have supplied famous restaurants (Le Cirque 2000), hotels (Ritz-Carlton) or chefs (Emeril). With time I decided to open my own restaurant that specialized in truffles and that's how "La Tartuferia" was born. And now I am in Rovenska continuing my creations with truffles.

I love the Losinj islands, especially Susak which was the first place I came to in Croatia. My partner Maja is island native and comes from a family well know in scuba and spear-fishing circles.
